Gina LeVay
Gina LeVay is a highly accomplished photographer and filmmaker, holding an MFA in Photo, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in the US and Europe, including the Museum of Contemporary Photography and the American Museum of Natural History. Gina has also worked on a variety of high-profile client projects, including commissions from Vanity Fair, ESPN, and IGK/Sephora. In addition to her commercial work, Gina is also an award-winning documentarian, known for her work on the legendary New York City miners, The Sandhog Project. Her book on their work, SANDHOGS, was published by powerHouse Books. She has also been named one of PDN's 30 image-makers of the future and has received a grant from The Andrew Rhodes Fund at The Visual Arts Foundation.
