Gilles de Sitter is a versatile and experienced marketeer and freelancer with a passion for the cultural sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Management from Hogeschool Haarlem and a Voorbereidend jaar in Bass Guitar from Codarts, Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Rotterdam. Gilles has worked in various communication and marketing roles in the cultural sector, including at the Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Oude Luxor Theater Rotterdam, and Jazz International Rotterdam. He is currently the Head of Marketing at Rotterdam Circusstad and previously held the same position at the Architectuur filmfestival Rotterdam. Gilles is also a co-founder of Ellerbeck Publishing, which publishes the popular Kleursprookjes and Dolly books. He is a passionate jazz enthusiast and was a key programmer for the Jazz Night Express, a popular night train that brought live jazz performances to audiences between Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and Berlin. Gilles is always looking for exciting new ways to promote and celebrate the cultural arts.
