Gianluca Marchiori

Gianluca Marchiori is an experienced professional in the field of Mechanical Engineering, devoted to applying his knowledge in the design, analysis, and optimization of complex systems and mechanical components. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and currently works as an R&D Engineer at Cone Drive Operations, where he focuses on developing solutions for precision gearing systems utilized in industries such as aerospace, defense, and energy.

Throughout his career, Gianluca has acquired extensive expertise in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and software programming, among other areas. He is a skilled communicator, conveying his findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders and fostering strong collaborations with team members and stakeholders alike.

Aside from his professional pursuits, Gianluca is a lifelong learner who enjoys obtaining new skills and exploring new fields, including data science, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
