Gianluca Etienne

Gianluca Etienne is an entrepreneurial scientist with a strong passion for leveraging new technology to revolutionize drug discovery.

His academic journey includes pursuing a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at EPFL, a Master of Science in Materials Science at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich, and participating in the IARU Summer School focused on Nanotechnology at The University of Tokyo.

Gianluca has held key roles in reputable organizations, serving as a Principal Scientist I at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) and previously as an Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow at the same institute. He has also contributed to research at EPFL, Harvard University, ETH Zurich, Tsinghua University, and Optotune.

His experience ranges from being a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Materials at ETH Zurich to conducting Bachelor's and Master's theses at esteemed institutions, showcasing his versatile skills and dedication to advancing scientific knowledge.
