Gert-Jan ten Klei is one of the owners and directors of DMi Ten Klei, formerly known as Creative DM Factory.12 He comes from a family with a long history in the direct mail industry, dating back to 1957 when his father started in the graphic finishing business.1 Gert-Jan, along with his sister Jacqueline ten Klei, became the proud owners of DMi Ten Klei – "Creative DM Factory" on March 1, 2022.2
The ten Klei family has been a prominent name in the Dutch Direct Mail market for decades. Gert-Jan's father and uncles specialized in producing Direct Mail Campaigns from Purmerend, making "Ten Klei" a well-known concept in the DM market.1
Under Gert-Jan's leadership, the company has undergone recent changes, including a merger between Creative DM Factory and JEA –Ten Klei, resulting in the new entity DMi Ten Klei.1 This merger has brought together various activities and reunited colleagues from the past, now operating in Purmerend.1
