Gerrit Meixner

Gerrit Meixner, a prominent figure in the field of Human-Computer Interaction, serves as the managing director of the Usability and Interaction Technology Lab (UniTyLab) and a full professor at Heilbronn University in Germany. He also holds the position of Affiliated Professor for Human-Computer Interaction at KTH Stockholm since December 2019.

Having earned his diploma and master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Trier, Gerrit went on to complete his doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Human-Machine-Interaction from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. His educational background is diverse and robust.

Throughout his career, Gerrit Meixner has demonstrated his expertise by publishing over 130 papers in various Human-Computer-Interaction related conferences, journals, and books. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the Research Transfer Award from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Heilbronn-Franken in 2015.

Notably, in 2020, he will take on the role of general chair for the 8th IEEE International Conference on Healthcare Informatics (ICHI), showcasing his leadership capabilities and industry influence.
