Geri Mannion
Geri Mannion is a prominent figure in philanthropy and civic engagement. With over two decades of experience at the Carnegie Corporation of New York, she has developed expertise in grantmaking, program development, and evaluation. Mannion's work focuses on improving the U.S. democratic system by promoting immigrant civic integration and voter engagement initiatives. She also chairs the board of Grantmakers Concerned with Immigrants and Refugees, a national affinity group supporting programs impacting immigrants. In recognition of her contributions to the field, Mannion received the Robert W. Scrivner Award for Creative Grantmaking in 2009, one of philanthropy's highest honors. That same year, she founded the Four Freedoms Fund, a funder collaborative, with her colleague Taryn Higashi. Mannion earned her B.A. in English and M.A. in political science, both from Fordham University.
