George Stavroulakis

George Stavroulakis is a versatile individual with a diverse background in science and arts, excelling in numerical algebra, distributed computing, coding, improvisation, polyrhythms, and guitar.

He is passionate about optimization and achieving peak performance, whether it's with algorithms, computers, cars, businesses, or musical bands.

George is currently engaged in various business and research ventures, showcasing proficiency in C#, F#, Java, Xamarin, and CUDA, particularly in parallel shared memory and distributed computing.

Beyond his technical expertise, he is an accomplished jazz guitar performer and instructor, contributing to music bands both locally in Greece and internationally.

His specialties encompass a wide array of areas including computer system architecture, high performance computing, GPGPU, project management, and car ECU tuning, especially focusing on JDM motors and aftermarket ECUs like eManage and AEM.

George holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a focus on high performance computing from the National Technical University of Athens.

Throughout his career, he has held key positions such as CTO at NComp, Head of the technical department at MGroup, and Executive consultant at Nessos Information Technologies S.A.

He has also contributed significantly as a Senior researcher at the Institute of Structural Analysis & Seismic Research and as a Guitar player, showcasing his multifaceted skills and interests.
