Genevieve Brazelton

Genevieve Brazelton is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of The Bitter Housewife, a company based in Portland, Oregon, that specializes in crafting small-batch bitters. The company was founded in June 2012 by Genevieve and her husband, Dan Brazelton, with a mission to create flavor-driven beverages that are accessible to both novice and experienced bartenders. Their product line includes all-natural bitters and ready-to-drink beverages, such as Bitters & Soda, which was launched in September 2019.1

In addition to her role at The Bitter Housewife, Genevieve has a diverse professional background in marketing and public relations. She has worked as a freelance PR and marketing strategist, focusing on brand communications for various clients in the food, drink, and lifestyle sectors. Her previous experiences include roles as a content manager, branding specialist, and project director for various companies, showcasing her expertise in developing brand identities and marketing strategies.1

Genevieve holds a BA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University and an MA in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College.1
