Gavin Warner

Gavin Warner is the General Manager for Sustainability in Global Commercial at Shell, based in London.123 He has over 20 years of experience in sustainability leadership, brand marketing, and related fields.2 Warner's role involves driving sustainable growth for industrial sectors and managing sustainability initiatives for Shell's global lubricants business.45

Prior to his current position at Shell, Warner worked at Unilever.3 He has a strong background in commerce, economics, finance, and marketing. Warner is actively involved in promoting sustainability within the lubricants industry, participating in discussions and events focused on accelerating the sustainability agenda.17

In his role, Warner has emphasized Shell's commitment to becoming a net-zero emissions energy business by 2050.5 He also plays a key part in Shell's initiatives to make their products more environmentally friendly, such as the development of carbon-neutral heavy-duty diesel engine oils.6

Warner received his education from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.2
