Gavin McDowell is the Vice President of the Multifamily Practice Group at Colliers International in Oakland, with over 17 years of Real Estate experience.
With a background in both brokerage and principal roles, Gavin specializes in institutional multifamily sales in the Greater Bay Area.
Having worked for a national multifamily developer, Gavin managed underwriting, cost, asset, debt underwriting, and budget forecasting, handling over $1.4B in acquisitions, dispositions, and developments.
Prior to his principal role, he spent six years at Marcus and Millichap focusing on multifamily investment sales, offering a unique perspective at Colliers International.
Gavin holds a BA from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
Outside of work, Gavin enjoys golf and family time, and is actively involved in supporting the SPCA and Tipping Point, organizations aiding homelessness and affordable housing issues.
