Chad Defoor is a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience in commercial real estate, encompassing brokerage, asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions of multifamily real estate.

With a track record of handling transactions exceeding $3 Billion and managing 55,000+ units, Chad has established himself as a proficient broker and asset manager.

Currently, Chad is a Senior Director for Multifamily Sales at Franklin Street, where he is part of a brokerage team that focuses on selling multifamily properties across the southeast region.

Before joining Franklin Street, Chad served as a Managing Director at Newmark Knight Frank (formerly ARA), contributing to the successful sale of over $1.9 Billion in multifamily assets comprising 31,000+ units.

Chad's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with double majors in Real Estate and Marketing from the University of Georgia. Throughout his academic journey, he was a member of the UGA Track Team, participating in the 400m dash and 4x400m relay.

An active member of the Atlanta Chapter of CCIM and the Georgia Chapter of IREM, Chad holds prestigious designations such as CCIM and CPM, showcasing his commitment to continuous professional development.
