Gautam Prabhakar's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Boston University, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Delhi Technological University, and schooling at Air Force Bal Bharti School in New Delhi.
Throughout his career, he has held positions such as Graduate Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at Boston University, Graduate Teaching Fellow, and has also completed research internships at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and Solid State Physics Laboratory.
