Dr. Gautam Prabhakar is a dedicated optical scientist and engineer, holding a Ph.D. in electro-optics and boasting over 7 years of expertise in designing, developing, and characterizing electro-optic systems. His work spans a wide array of applications including sensing, lasers, imaging, microscopy, and semiconductors. With hands-on experience in various electro-optical systems, he excels in areas like imaging, sensing, lithography, waveguide design, lasers, and detectors. He is well-versed in optical testing and characterization tools and techniques, alongside proficiency in MATLAB, LabVIEW, COMSOL, Lumerical, Solidworks, Python, and more. Dr. Prabhakar has a robust theoretical foundation in electro-physics, covering fiber optics, imaging, lasers, and semiconductor devices. His technical prowess is complemented by exceptional writing and presentation skills, evident through 3 patents, over 30 publications in renowned optics journals, and service as a reviewer for numerous scholarly publications.
