Gaurav Durasamy

Gaurav Durasamy is an entrepreneurial and driven leader with a strong background in building brands, product development, technology, digital marketing, clean energy, and sustainability. He is currently focused on building a profitable apparel and lifestyle business in the direct-to-consumer (d2c) space. Gaurav holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Sustainable Energy Technology from Technische Universiteit Delft and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University.

Throughout his career, Gaurav has held various roles that have contributed to his expertise. He is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Tailor and Circus, where he applies his skills in establishing sustainable growth strategies and creating breakthrough products in the d2c industry. Previously, he served as a Consultant, Manager in Technology and Products at SunEdison, where he focused on rural electrification, and as a Systems Engineer for Utility Scale PV projects. Gaurav has also been involved in impactful projects such as designing a 1MW Solar PV system for a highway noise barrier and contributing to energy and sustainability initiatives in organizations like Solar Decathlon Europe.
