Hello, I am Gary Clough, the Head Of Programmes at the Royal College of Art for the Graduate Diploma in Art and Design, located at the White City Campus in London.
With over thirty years of experience in Art & Design education in Higher and Further Education, I am responsible for the academic oversight, management, and development of the Graduate Diploma course.
I have a diverse background working with various partners nationally and internationally, especially collaborating with Colleges and Universities in China to develop pedagogic partnerships and projects.
As a practising fine artist, I work across disciplines including drawing, sculpture, animation, and site-specific installations, showcasing my work in exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Sculpture from West Surrey College of Art and Design and a Master of Arts (M.A) in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art.
Throughout my career, I have held key positions such as Co-founder & Academic Director at Global Arts Education, External Moderator at University of the Arts London, Senior Tutor at the Royal College of Art, and various leadership roles at the University for the Creative Arts and Kent Institute of Art and Design.
I have also served as the Henry Moore Sculpture Fellow at The Henry Moore Foundation, showcasing my dedication to the arts field.
