Gamal Guemeih

Gamal Guemeih is a highly accomplished professional with a rich background in investment management, business development, and private equity across the Middle East and North Africa region.

He is the founder of Springboard Investment Management Ltd. (SPBD), a dynamic investment company that facilitates the growth of small and medium-scale businesses in various industries in the MENA bloc.

Within the SPBD ecosystem, Gamal played a pivotal role as the founder of Fruit Republic, where he served as the Director of Business Development from 2013 to 2016. Fruit Republic specializes in fruit and juice products and operates in the Middle Eastern and African markets.

Prior to his MBA, Gamal held the position of Associate Vice President in Private Equity at EFG Hermes, the largest investment bank in the Middle East. During his tenure, he excelled in analyzing investment opportunities, managing transactions, and overseeing portfolio companies in sectors like Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals, and Infrastructure.

Before his time at EFG Hermes, Gamal honed his expertise as a Senior Analyst at HC Securities and Investments, focusing on transactions in sectors such as Cement, Steel, Fertilizers, FMCGs, and Real Estate. Notable projects include the privatization of the Suez Steel Company and the valuation of government-owned stakes in various companies.

Gamal Guemeih holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BSc in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo.
