Led a team of 10 learning professionals and transformed self-professed training request “order-takers” into performance consultants delivering learning experiences via lean methodology and a digital marketing mindset. We treated learners like customers and designed a portfolio of offerings that solved strategic business problems in a repeatable and reliable way.

The Product Life Cycle is an award-winning framework for using Lean methodology to build products people actually want and strip out risk from portfolio investment decisions. We operate like a boutique consultancy within the organization, helping clients with large product portfolios north of $100 million in annual revenue adopt the Product Life Cycle. This includes strategy workshops with leadership, one-on-one coaching with product teams, systems and tool design to support new practices, and lots of project management and KPI tracking. Ultimately we transform legacy business cultures into fast-moving, innovative product organizations who better align individual investment decisions with strategic goals.

A national team of 600+ sales professionals needs to stay sharp and constantly adapt to a marketplace undergoing historic transformation. Given the wealth of expertise already spread throughout the team, my job was to design an environment that enableed the organization to teach itself. I listened to reps' feedback, hit the road for client meetings, attend conferences, and then used it all to continuously develop ideas, concepts, language, and stories to help reps effortlessly convey the value of our solutions to potential clients.

Focused on turning our sales reps from call-makers into call-takers by generating demand for our solutions. This involved managing the messaging around who we are and what we do, creating and implementing marketing campaigns, lots of copywriting, a few events, and then tracking it all to make it better.
