Frederic Nabki

Frederic Nabki is an accomplished professional with a background in electrical engineering and a Ph.D. from McGill University specializing in above-IC MEMS resonators for timing applications.
His expertise includes microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), analog, RF, and mixed-signal integrated circuits, with a focus on next-generation MEMS processes and devices, MEMS-CMOS integration, MEMS device modeling, and design of integrated circuits like phase-locked loops and wireless transceivers.
Dr. Nabki has authored book chapters on MEMS resonators, numerous publications, and holds multiple patents. He currently serves as the Treasurer of the Montreal Section of the IEEE.
Recipient of the Governor General of Canada’s Academic Bronze Medal, Dr. Nabki has received funding from prestigious organizations including the Reseau de recherche et d'innovation du Quebec (ReSMiQ), FQRNT, NSERC, and CFI.
His professional journey includes roles at SPARK Microsystems as Co-Founder and CTO, as well as academic positions at École de technologie supérieure, UQAM, and McGill University.
