Freddy 顧道輝

Freddy Curiél 顧道輝 is an Italian Landscape Architect and founder of Lapis Bureau, a creative design agency based in Shenzhen.12 Born in 1983, he has expertise in various fields of design at different scales.12 Curiél completed his bachelor's studies in architecture at IUAV in Venice and KArch Royal Academy in Copenhagen, later earning a master's degree in Architecture and Landscape Planning from Politecnico di Milano with honors.2

Throughout his career, Curiél has collaborated with several architecture studios across Europe and Asia, including Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, and Hong Kong.2 He has been based in Shenzhen since 2011, where he combines research and academic activities with his design practice at Lapis Bureau.2

Curiél's professional achievements include:

As the founder and creative director of Lapis Bureau, Curiél leads a team that provides landscape, architecture, product, and interior design solutions for international clients such as Luxottica, Cassina, Giorgetti, Tencent, and MoMA Design Store.2 He is also a co-founder of TheSignR Creative Channel, a media platform dedicated to the creative community in the Greater Bay Area.2

Curiél is actively involved in the design community as a speaker, lecturer, and jury member for various international awards.2 His work with Lapis Bureau has gained international recognition, with the studio winning the Luxury Lifestyle Design award in 2021.2
