Fred Rego

Fred Rego is an accomplished senior technology executive and strategist with extensive experience in the healthcare, aviation, and education domains. With a 25-year entrepreneurial background, he has co-founded ten tech startups, including successful ventures like VanHack, AeroTrack, Acecla, and AeroInfo Systems, later acquired by The Boeing Company.

Apart from his entrepreneurial endeavors, Fred fills the role of investor and startups advisor, participating in various advisory boards. He actively mentors aspiring young entrepreneurs, lectures at the University of British Columbia's Sauder Business School on Entrepreneurship, and instructs Innovation and Ideation courses at the Vancouver Global Startup School. Additionally, he offers mentorship at the BC Aviation Council, VanHack for international tech professionals, serves as a Tech & Product Strategy Advisor at Volition Advisors, and engages as a panel judge in multiple startup competitions.
