Tian Lan

Tian Lan is an accomplished Angel Investor and Venture Partner at Hat-trick Capital, a prominent VC firm in Palo Alto focused on early-stage tech startups. Prior to her investing career, Tian contributed her expertise to various startups and spent 6 years at Uber, where she was a pivotal member of the Engineering Team in Seattle and instrumental in developing Uber's business Automation Platform.

Passionate about fostering communities, Tian is the visionary behind Future Builders, a non-profit tech community spanning Seattle, the Bay Area, and Vancouver, offering mentorship programs and engaging events. Complementing her entrepreneurial endeavors, Tian is also an ICF certified life coach, specializing in supporting startup founders in managing stress and anchoring their focus on strategic visions, guiding numerous successful founders and budding entrepreneurs.

Tian Lan's educational journey is marked by academic excellence, encompassing studies in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, courses at Columbia University, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Philosophy, Economics, and Anthropology from Brandeis University, and a stint at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
