Frank Shaw

Frank Shaw is a seasoned corporate attorney specializing in the energy and infrastructure sectors with significant experience in project development, finance, acquisitions, and sales both internationally and in the U.S.

Currently serving as Chief Counsel - Business Development Americas at First Solar, Inc., with a rich background in representing various stakeholders in solar, wind, renewable, and conventional power projects, as well as other major infrastructure ventures.

Throughout his career, Frank has advised clients across a spectrum of industries, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, on a wide array of corporate matters, including loan agreements, equity investments, and commercial contracts.

Extensively involved in the advancement of the U.S. clean energy industry, Frank Shaw has contributed remarkable insights through his membership on the federal Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee, working closely with the U.S. Secretary of Commerce on enhancing the global competitiveness of American clean energy enterprises.

Frank's academic journey includes studies in European History at Harvard College and Harvard University, culminating in a Doctor of Law (JD), cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.
