Francis Dachille

Francis Dachille is a highly skilled and experienced educator with over 30 years of teaching and coaching experience in public, Catholic, and independent schools. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving four years on active duty and 24 years in the reserves, rising to the rank of Captain (O-6). Francis was responsible for commanding two different units of Army, Navy and Air Force Reservists that provided intelligence products and mobilization support to the European Command Joint Analysis Center in Molesworth, England and to the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
In addition to his extensive military experience, Francis is also an accomplished lecturer and presenter. He has created and delivered presentations on a wide range of topics, including "Remembering: What Military Cemeteries Tell Us," "Ireland: A History," "The Iranian Revolution and the Iran-Iraq War," "Iraq: How We Got to March 2003," and "How We Got to 9-11."
Francis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Arts in Government and Politics from St. John's University. He is proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as a number of educational tools including Moodle, Haiku, Voice Thread, Delicious, and Diigo.
Francis is well-versed in a number of areas of the world, including the Middle East, China, and Japan. He has traveled extensively throughout Ireland, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, Bahrain, Pakistan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, and Canada.
