Francesco Di Lorenzo

Francesco Di Lorenzo is an accomplished Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Copenhagen Business School, specializing in venture financing, entrepreneurship, and technology strategy.

With a background in Economics and Management from Università Bocconi, Francesco holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Esade in Management Science, along with a Master of Research in the same field.

His research primarily focuses on the impact of corporate investors on startup survival, market success, and innovation performance, with a strong emphasis on the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industries.

Francesco's consulting expertise lies in data analytics, particularly HR Analytics, and strategic advisory services for startups and economic consulting.

He has a rich academic history, having served as an Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School and Georgetown University, as well as holding the role of Academic Director for the Master of Science in International Management at ESADE.

Francesco Di Lorenzo is also a seasoned lecturer in the areas of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation, catering to EMBA/MBA and MSc students.

Outside of academia and consulting, Francesco's passions lie in sailing and cooking, interests he hopes to integrate into his professional life in the future.
