Transitioning into the realm of cutting-edge technology, Forrest joined Synthego, a CRISPR Gene Editing Tools Company, where he played a pivotal role as the CFO for five years. Subsequently, he made significant contributions to Dandelion Energy, a GoogleX spinout focused on Geothermal/Heat Pump technology.
