Fernando Henrique de Sousa, PhD
Fernando de Sousa is a highly experienced professional in the fields of geography, territorial planning, and tourism. He holds a PhD in Geography and Territorial Planning from the University of Paris and has more than two decades of experience working on projects in Brazil and Europe. Fernando is currently the Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability at the Cataratas Group, and he has also founded Tamoios Inteligência Geográfica, where he served as a consultant in PPP modeling, project finance, and strategic planning.
Fernando has extensive expertise in GIS, territory management, socio-environmental conflict management, tourism planning, market studies, and design thinking. He has worked with various organizations during his career, including the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Wildlife Fund, and the UNEP. Additionally, he has served as a University Professor and has been involved with government programs, such as the PRODETUR Nacional and the PPP Unit in Minas Gerais.
