Federico Presicci is an accomplished sales professional and mindfulness coach with a remarkable journey of personal and professional growth. Originally from Italy, he moved to England six years ago, facing language barriers and unfamiliarity. Determined to succeed, Federico started by taking up dishwashing jobs while working relentlessly to improve his English skills. His perseverance paid off when he secured his first sales position. From there, he swiftly climbed the ladder and landed a more significant sales role in a growing event and technology company. Federico faced challenges initially but soon found his stride, experiencing exponential growth and professional success.
However, his fast-paced trajectory took a toll on his mental health. Anxiety and depression ensued, impacting his day-to-day life. Struggling to find support within his workplace, Federico embarked on a personal journey to find solutions for his well-being.
Fortuitously, he encountered a coach who introduced him to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a mindfulness approach that aimed to alleviate mental health issues while enhancing performance. This revolutionary approach taught Federico that he didn't need to change his thoughts or emotions; he simply had to alter how he related to them. Discovering the ability to observe his thoughts without judgment allowed him to rise above them, transforming his state of mind.
Buoyed by his newfound awareness, Federico's sales performance soared. Doubts and fears no longer held him back as he realized they were merely thoughts, not realities. By accepting and acknowledging his uncomfortable emotions, his stress diminished, enabling him to focus on the present task at hand.
Fueled by his passion for mindfulness and well-being, Federico pursued training as an ICF-accredited coach. Transitioning into a sales coach role, he utilized his expertise to help others in similar positions enhance their performance while minimizing the psychological burdens of their roles.
Continuing to expand his horizons, Federico evolved into the Head of Sales Training for a department encompassing hundreds of salespeople. In this role, he shared his knowledge and skills, empowering others and guiding them towards improved performance and overall well-being.
Today, Federico utilizes his extensive experience and expertise in coaching and mindfulness to assist sales professionals in elevating their performance while navigating the challenges and demands of their roles. His unique approach combines sales training and mindfulness techniques, enabling individuals to excel in their careers while maintaining mental and emotional balance.
Education-wise, Federico holds a Master of Science degree in Innovation and Technology Management with first-class honors from the University of Bath. Additionally, he earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Personal and Business Coaching from the University of Chester. He also completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Management with first-class honors (Italian grade: 110/110 cum Laude) from Politecnico di Bari. Furthermore, Federico participated in an International Week on Business Strategy and Sustainable Development at USB in South Africa.
Embarking on his professional journey, Federico held various positions, including Global Sales Enablement Manager at GoCardless, Head of Sales Training and Enablement at GDS Group, Training and Performance Specialist at GDS Group, Senior Global Delegate Sales Executive and Sales Coach at GDS Group, and Global Delegate Sales Executive and Master of Ceremonies at GDS Group. Prior to these roles, he was a Customer Development Executive at Numerable Software.
Federico also founded and served as the Commercial Director of Drawings & PortraiTees. Through his diverse experiences, Federico has honed his skills in sales, coaching, training, and leadership, making him a valuable asset in the sales industry.
