Katherine Hughes-Fraitekh
Katherine Hughes-Fraitekh is a seasoned public administrator and co-founder of Solidarity 2020 and Beyond, where she works with social justice movements worldwide to provide training, research, emergency funds, and psycho-social support.
With over 100 activists in 70+ countries, Katherine has managed small grants programs, specialized in nonviolent action training, and excelled in strategic planning and communication.
Her experience includes directing international development programs, founding the National Lawyers Committee on Human Rights, and working with US Congress and the New Mexico State Legislature.
As a Rotary Peace Fellow, Katherine completed a peacebuilding program in Bangkok and is a skilled presenter/facilitator who has raised over $45 million for non-profits, businesses, and government agencies.
Her extensive education includes master's degrees in International Affairs and Development, as well as conflict resolution and peace studies, from American University and Georgetown University.
