Allan Benchetrit

Allan Benchetrit is an established business leader with a strong background in technology firms, specializing in computer vision, mobile video, and mobile Internet.

He has a proven track record of creating and executing strategic business plans, raising venture funding, recruiting top talent, building brand equity, and fostering successful customer and partner relationships, resulting in multi-million dollar commercial agreements.

Currently, Allan serves as the President & CEO of Algolux, a company renowned for providing cutting-edge and scalable computer vision technology.

Throughout his career, Allan has received numerous prestigious awards and recognitions for his contributions to the tech industry, including being named a CES Innovation Honoree for Automotive ADAS and Autonomous Vehicle Solutions.

Prior to his role at Algolux, Allan was the President & CEO of Vantrix from 2008 to 2012, a company he co-founded in 2004. Under his leadership, Vantrix underwent successful repositioning into mobile video, secured multi-million dollar global agreements with Tier 1 partners, expanded into new markets, and saw a significant revenue increase of 600%.

Before Vantrix, Allan held the position of COO at the same company following its management buy-out from VoiceAge Corp. He also served as VP Sales and Alliances at VoiceAge Corp., where he facilitated groundbreaking deals in mobile banking and telecom infrastructure.

Allan's career began in the late 1980s as a software Account Manager at Dun & Bradstreet. He later went on to hold various sales, marketing, and business administration roles at Oracle and HP, where he was recognized for his leadership potential and named to the Americas LEAD program.

Allan Benchetrit holds an M.B.A. in Management and Finance from John Molson School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Concordia University.
