Mayacamas has studied Fermentation Science at UC Davis, Biology and International Relations at Santa Rosa Junior College, and Corporate Sustainability at Presidio Graduate School, and has earned an MBA in these fields.

Mayacamas has been a part of numerous renowned organizations, such as Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, Newton Vineyard, Huneeus Vintners, Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines, Sunshine Organic Consulting, Enterprise Vineyards, Long Meadow Ranch, Sonoma Ecology Center, Penfolds, and Pernod Ricard. In roles like General Manager, Head of Viticulture, Director of Vineyards, Director of Vineyard Operations & Grower Relations, Sustainability Agricultural Business Consultant, Viticulturist & Grower Relations, Site & Production Manager, Winemaking Liaison, and Harvest Viticulturist, Mayacamas has been instrumental in enhancing consumer experiences, engagement, and operational efficiency.
