I run revenue driving activity by partnering with customers to solve complicated problems and engage in change management. I manage the pipeline from prospecting to close for all of our products. At an early stage startup, that's meant building the infrastructure needed to run a revenue driving operation, including CRM management, task management, contract negotiation and account management for existing customers.

In my time in this role, I worked to sell into an emerging and volatile market. I worked with leadership to ensure goals were being met.

In this role, I managed the data team’s day to day operations. This included the maintenance and development of a development environment and CRM Migration. A primary responsibility was scoping new data projects with cross-departmental stakeholders. In my time I also recruited for and created a new position responsible for data engineering projects. I managed vendor relationships and ensured all development was done inside company managed development environments.

I was the organizing team’s data specialist; I focused on building scalable reports and frameworks for reporting on the progress to goal for varying organizing campaigns. I also went to different organizing campaigns to work with teams on the ground to design reports that answered key questions based on each campaign. In my role, I supported data staffers who served as the first line of support for users of our tools. In my role, I built high-level reports, worked with union leadership to produce reports informing key questions and managed the pipelines building membership files for use in organizing campaigns. In addition to organizing campaigns, I spent a month deployed on the political team’s campaign for president in Ohio, which meant being an extra set of hands whenever they were needed.

Data and Targeting Specialist 

As data director, I managed the organization’s data requests from every campaign and organization in the state. I worked with national entities to acquire and validate datasets for use in political campaigns. I managed relationships with key stakeholders and served as a primary fundraiser by licensing and managing access to our database. I wrote and delivered trainings to teach users of all technical levels to enter data into the database and use data tools to inform voter contact programs. I set standards for data entry and use while prioritizing usability.

Data Director

As deputy data director, I developed reports that highlighted the program’s progress to goal for leadership to inform resource allocation. I also worked with a team of interns and the Voter Protection team to maintain a database of election officials in the county and the polling places for each county. I also worked to acquire election results from every county in the state, with some even being sent to the office as photo copies of sign in sheets. I was the primary support person for the CRM for the state and its hundreds of users, which included data and tool troubleshooting.

I represented the state party with local campaigns to organize local events and build support for candidates and issues. I trained local leadership on data entry and CRM best practices so that data collection could be coordinated at a high level. I worked with state staff to ensure that voters were being contacted and leaders were being trained on the skills it would require to continue organizing beyond the upcoming election.

Community outreach about LGBT related issues.  We would fundraise on the streets of LA and gather support for a campaign aimed at diminishing the harmful effects of homophobia.  We also made phone calls for 100% pro equality candidates and recruited volunteers for community outreach events.

Fundraise for nonprofits while training new employees and handling all confrontations with opposition, managers, and occasional police encounters.
