Senior developer of a greenfield FPGA-based real time risk platform posed to reduce risk calculation times from overnight/hourly runs down to 5-25 second long cycles for FX Options and short-term interest rates products. Mainly responsible for UI development, mentoring and coaching other team members, driving agile process and best development practices in the team. 
Development team won “Tech team of the year” nomination in 2017.

•	C#/WPF Realtime Risk UI for FX Options and STIRT with Maxeler Java/FPGA back-end using a host of third-party technologies such as Solace, Mongo, Storm, DevExpress, Prism and others

•	Led a GUI development team on the FX trade capture and allocation system development using .Net and WPF as core technologies, with SoftwareAg BPMS as a messaging and middleware platform. Responsibilities included capturing user/stakeholder requirements, converting them into proper specifications driving development workslate of a new system; management of team’s daily activities as well as hands-on development as main GUI frontend architect/lead dev. System was completed and delivered to the users in agreed timelines and under the budget across several iterations with no issues and production incidents, enabling on-boarding of large RMF clients like Pimco

Working with other team members on different aspects of Sabre project, focusing on MO and FO trade booking and trade lifecycling aspects of the platform supporting multiple classes of exotics, derivatives and structured products. Worked on both client and server sides of the platform to support both current and future business needs and opportunities. Took part in re-engineering of existing server infrastructure, phasing out legacy C++/Java/sockets server applications and replacing them with unified .Net/Tibco based platform. •	Design and implementation of the new trade publication solution, reducing the current number of back-end server components by streamlining application infrastructure and replacing in-house messaging system with Tibco EMS.

•	Worked on the local markets integration projects, merging ABN-AMRO IT infrastructure with RBS systems after the acquisition and migrating ABN clients to RBS in a series of global exercises.

Technical team lead and a senior developer in the US exchange links RAD team. Worked on a rapid solutions development using C#, C++ and SQL for global algorithmic trading, DMA and HFT business when established development lifecycle was not flexible enough to accommodate client requirements. Member of the five-person SDC SA software architecture team, which was responsible for reviewing new application designs across SG Equities IT and analysis and resolution of the current issues related to performance problems and production outages.
•         Designed, developed and deployed a high-performance multi-platform real-time trade monitoring server providing data aggregation, distributed querying and alerts services. More than 30 instances are running 24/6 across the globe. It’s written in C++, uses Tibco EMS as a messaging platform, has good failover and recovery capabilities, and very fast data consumption and processing rates (each instance easily handles the current flow of 5-6K messages per second)
•         Designed and developed a custom distributed query engine, allowing to simultaneously query multiple proprietary order management systems using a SQL-like language for both real-time data and synthetic fields generated according to client business rules. The system is written in C++ using BerkeleyDB as a data storage layer as available traditional databases couldn’t cope with a very high insert and update rates.
•         Designed and developed multiple client tools using C#, C++ and SQL stored procedure packages to support a range of business client needs, such as latency monitoring, order allocation, execution and fees statistics, profit and loss monitoring for multiple currency books.

Working as a senior developer in a Singapore Equities IT team, closely interacting with US and UK teams. Developing and supporting key business trading application used during all trading stages from order submission to the booking stage. This C# application interacts with multiple commercial and proprietary data sources and market systems and relies on a custom framework for internal messaging and data flow. XML and DB-based configuration allows flexible user and desk level workspace customization.
•	Development of new functionality and requirements such as RegNMS OPR conformance basing on BA requirements and customer needs
•	Reverse-engineering legacy C++ applications in order to establish a baseline for future development and to analyze causes of production issues.

Worked as a team leader with project management responsibilities in a large software development company employing more than a 1,000 developers. Acted as a senior software engineer performing software architecture and design tasks within department and providing consulting services throughout the company. •     Managed a team of four software engineers to migrate the data accumulated in large corporate Lotus Notes databases to Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and replace corporate reporting solution improving report generation time for complex reports from several hours to 1-3 minutes. Designed the database structure and stored procedures for data transfer. Analyzed possible reporting solutions and persuaded the management to deploy the Microsoft Reporting Services, cutting development time and license costs comparing to previous solutions at least by 70%.
•     Led the team of 5 developers throughout the full development cycle of the distributed system for international automotive traffic control in Republic of Belarus, acting as team leader, architect, database designer and C developer. Successful country-wide system deployment resulted in further contract offers from the Ministry of Transportation of Belarus.
•     Managed the in-house teams’ communication and acted as team leader and technical expert during development and deployment of new company-wide project management system.Provided consultations on database design, security model, reporting solutions and overall software design.
 •    Optimized departments’ prototyping and testing procedures by introducing the virtual PC technologies in the development processes. Using Vmware GSX Server solution reduced the average testing preparation time by at least 60% and significantly lowered the amount of new hardware requests.

Served as a programmer analyst in IBM Storage Division during replacement of legacy shopfloor control system with the new InSite MES control system supplied by Camstar, Inc. New system is being deployed worldwide on five IBM hard drive manufacturing plants with headquarters in San Jose.
•     Designed and developed converter application, which acts as a gateway and protocol converter between legacy shopfloor control system and the new InSite Suite during the transition period, ensuring minimal shopfloor downtime. Converter was developed in Visual C++ as a multi-threaded application using STL and Windows API, accepting TCP/IP and NetBIOS connections from legacy system and converting old TAP's (tool application program) protocols to InSite data to be transferred via DCOM to the InSite
•     Developed the modular and extensible transaction library, which is used to simplify and standardize  client-server interface between InSite and tool application programs. Transaction library is designed as MFC extension library providing different classes for different types of shopfloor transactions and connecting via separate abstraction layers to production DB2 databases and InSite application servers, utilizing TCP/IP and DCOM connections.
•     Developed test applications and suites in C# to test the functionality of both natively developed C++ applications and new InSite API's during InSite version transitions. Took part in beta-testing of new InSite releases using the specialized network sniffing hardware and different debugging tools such as NuMega SoftIce and DevPartner Studio.
•     Led the evaluation of new technologies (.NET, CORBA, WebSphere, etc.) and made recommendations to develop technology roadmap for the future releases of InSite.
