George Aye is a renowned design thinker and Co-Founder of Greater Good Studio, a design firm based in Chicago. With years of experience in shaping organizational solutions with innovative design thinking, George has been instrumental in bringing forth restorative and just design solutions that cater to the needs of communities using a human-centered approach. Prior to co-founding Greater Good Studio, he spent about seven years at global innovation firm IDEO, where he developed a solid foundation in human-centered design thinking.

George is highly experienced in creating restorative solutions and has been the first human-centered designer at the Chicago Transit Authority. As a designer, educator, and innovator, he excels in guiding clients and teams through complex projects with a design methodology that is grounded in reality, creates ownership, and builds power. Additionally, he teaches in the Design Thinking and Human-Centered Innovation department at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he holds the position of Full Professor (Adj).
