Bahaa Samy is a well-educated individual with impressive credentials, having studied Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at McMaster University and a Master of Science (MSc) in Investment Management at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Samy has also completed his Bachelor's degree in the University of Alexandria at Alexandria University.

Samy has an extensive background in the renewable energy industry, having founded eDGe Renewable Partners and worked for various companies such as Scatec Solar, Lightsource BP-Ha and Hassan Allam Holding, where he held senior management positions, including the role of Project Developer in the Middle East and North Africa region. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors at TREC Renewable Energy Co-op.

Beyond the renewable energy industry, Samy also has experience in manufacturing and public policy. He worked as a Group Leader in Metal Fabrication at General Motors and as a Research Analyst at the Office of Economic Policy at the Ontario Ministry of Finance. Additionally, Samy also worked as a Retail Banking and Wealth Management Representative at HSBC and as a Customer Service Officer at BLOM BANK Egypt.

Samy's professional experience also includes serving as a Senior Analyst, M&A and Project Finance, Associate, Investments - M&A and Project Finance, and Analyst, Investments at Amp. He also served as a Partner, Business Development at ECAD Aluminium doors and Windows.
