Developing a full-stack (FastAPI/Vue.js) comprehensive assay development SQL database (114k+ untouched test archives) to significantly reduce unnecessary and error-prone manual workflow processing and labor, trend instrument/module performance and behavior, and facilitate future assay development. 

Working closely with stakeholders (i.e. assay developers, failure investigation, service) to create example analyses and workflows with the finalized database. Long term goals include instrument failure targeting for improvement in module performance, accuracy trending and instrument failure prediction, and facilitation of future assay development.

•	Undergraduate research intern at the Prakash lab, world-renown for inventing $1.75 Foldscopes and 30¢ centrifuges (Whirligig)
•	Project lead and primary developer for spatial intensity normalization of bright-field fluorophore imaging using applied machine learning techniques, directly supplementing our Octopi project, a low-cost, autonomous, and configurable high-throughput imaging platform for infectious disease diagnosis including TB and malaria in the field

• Spearheaded proposal development and conducted preliminary studies into urban child poverty in Beijing through coordination with UNICEF. Acted as a liaison between the company and international NGO’s and resources.
• Conducted literature review on current pediatric burn protocol in the US, Germany, and UK to develop effective guidelines for China ranging from awareness and prevention to treatment to outpatient care

• Led an independent proof-of-concept (POC) research project focused on circumventing traditional bottlenecks in RNAi-based therapeutics after extensive dissection of current graduate-level literature as a high schooler.
• Engineered novel ultra-pH sensitive transferrin PDPA nanoplatforms for tumor-specific release of siRNA in inherently acidic microenvironment of glioblastoma. 
• Developed stimuli-responsive PDPA nanoparticles in conjunction with ACSL5 siRNA, which was novelly applied as a two-pronged knockdown agent for glioma fatty acid oxidation proliferation and survival-promoting downstream Midkine pathway.
