F. Moody

F. Scott Moody is the Co-founder, Chairman/CEO, and Chief Member Advocate of K4Connect, a company dedicated to utilizing cutting-edge technology to empower older adults and individuals living with disabilities.

He has a strong track record of securing venture capital, having raised over $25 million for K4Connect from investors like Intel Capital, Sierra Ventures, and Revolution.

Prior to K4Connect, Moody co-founded AuthenTec, a prominent provider of fingerprint sensor and security solutions, which was acquired by Apple in 2012, making it the only public company ever purchased by Apple.

At AuthenTec, he raised over $70 million in venture capital, oversaw a successful IPO on NASDAQ, and expanded the company from its two co-founders to over 300 employees globally.

Moody's professional journey began at Harris Semiconductor, now Renesas Intersil, where he served as Vice President and led successful turnarounds of various divisions, eventually acquiring GE Microelectronics.

He holds a BS from North Carolina State University and an Executive MBA from the University of Florida.

Aside from K4Connect and AuthenTec, Moody has been involved in various organizations, including Cofounders Capital, NSF Nanosystems Engineering Research Center, and Stonehenge Growth Equity Partners, among others.
