Adriana Piltz is the Founder and Chairman of Nicky's Gardens of Hope Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating sustainable and supportive living environments for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). She established the organization in 2018, driven by her personal experiences as a mother to her son, Nicky, who has IDD. Her mission focuses on providing homes, jobs, and dignity for disabled adults and their families in Hudson County, New York.125
Before founding Nicky's Gardens of Hope, Piltz had a successful career in the financial sector, holding various high-level positions including COO and President at several brokerage firms in New York City. She transitioned from Wall Street to focus on her nonprofit work, leveraging her extensive experience and connections to disrupt the traditional care model for disabled individuals.234
Piltz is also pursuing an MBA in Sustainability at Harvard Extension School, which aligns with her commitment to building a net-zero sustainable community for adults with disabilities. She is fluent in multiple languages, including Slovak, Czech, Polish, and English, and has been actively involved in advocating for the rights and needs of disabled individuals.345
