Chief Strategy Officer

Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the formulation and updating of the Group’s Strategic Plans, together with its component programs, by provision of requisite analyses and information.
- Facilitating the implementation of specific organization-wide strategic initiatives 
- Establishing an institutional practice to strategic planning anchored on the Balanced Scorecard approach.
- Developing a Strategic Planning business cycle (typically coinciding with the financial budget cycle) and guides Executive Management to understand the cycle, its activities and the actual planning form.
- Periodically monitoring the achievement of strategic plans by the Business Lines / Corporate by generating / reviewing necessary MIS reports and prepares monthly strategic plan reports to the Top Management.
- Assisting the Top Management in study / assessment of specific strategic initiatives such as for Joint Ventures, Diversification, and Integration etc.
- Initiating organization-wide change programs such as organization structuring, HR Strategic projects etc in collaboration with the respective business / support lines.
- Studying new / amended legislation and / or Government driven initiatives to their relevance and impact on strategies and keep Top Management / business lines / support lines duly informed as required.

Corporate Planning Manager

Responsible for the whole Plant. This includes responsibilities for finance, sales and marketing, production quality, technical problem solving, ensuring high productivity through proper scheduling and real-time resolution of production issues, upkeep of inventory, reduction of costs, ISO compliance and man power planning.

Plant Manager

Responsibilities cover the following departments/independent business units within the plant; Mirror Line, Warehouse, IT, and Continual Improvement. Also was member of steering committee tasked with the development of a written culture document for the plant.

Recruitment Manager			 			(January 2002 – October 2002)
- In charge of organizing and carrying out all domestic and international recruitment activities for all levels of personnel working in the plant. This required establishing ties with recruitment agencies in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Egypt, and Jordan. Also established a standard procedure for the documentation of all interview findings, and establishing a database of perspective candidates for future consideration.


Shift Production Manager				          		   (July 2001 – December 2001)
- Responsible for all production activities and the overall operation of the plant during the shift. Responsibilities include quality of product and the safe operation of the plant. Also responsible for all logistical and personnel issues for the crew (work force of 50), including hiring of new employees and promotions.

Shift Production Supervisor				       		   (September 2000 – June 2001)
- Responsible for all production activities at the cold-end department of the plant during the shift. Responsibilities include quality of product and the safe operation of the department
- Responsible for all the shift - production scheduling design.
