Erik Weidner

Erik Weidner is a dedicated PhD student in geophysics specializing in inverse theory to visualize the Earth's mantle using seismic surface wave data. His primary focus is on quantifying uncertainty to refine interpretations from datasets. He possesses proficiency in Python and Fortran gained through his extensive research work, supplemented by basic knowledge in Java and Caché.

Erik holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geophysics and Seismology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Middlebury College. He has been actively involved in academia as a Teaching Assistant and previously served as a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA. Erik also has practical experience as a Server Systems Engineer at Epic.
