▪ Organize and implement comprehensive summer programming to enhance the scholarly experience of the Institute's selected scholars, which includes facilitating leadership and professional development workshops, arranging private meetings with influential leaders, and providing assistance in identifying and securing high-level internships.

▪ Led the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and coaching of a team of nine staff, ensuring the successful delivery of Code Nations programs across 41 cohorts.

Senior Program Manager, Volunteer Community Specialist

Code Nation equips students in under-resourced schools with the fundamental coding skills and professional experiences that together create access to careers in technology. 

▪Manage and ensure success of the program at up to 6 high school sites. Coordinate and support teams of volunteers as they teach the Code Nation curriculum. Provide instructional coaching and support with the implementation of effective teaching strategies. Ensure volunteer satisfaction and retention.

▪ Act as a liaison between Code Nation and partner schools. Keep abreast of school schedules and keep volunteer teams informed of changes. Communicate with school partners about the success of the program and any concerns.

▪ Coordinate logistics for Code Nation classes, field trips, and special events.  

▪ Collect and manage student and program data. Manage student attendance, participation and mastery data. Track and analyze all data using Salesforce. Prepare reports and keep all stakeholders informed on progress.

▪ Conduct volunteer trainings and support volunteers through the onboarding process.

•	Created four, one week-long summer program focused on leadership, scholarship and brotherhood for high school African-American men from Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Durham, and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area
