Retail Executive Consultant

Sold IBM retail industry solutions (both hunting and farming) across several segments of the retail industry, including department stores, specialty drug, specialty apparel, category killers, large and small formats. Business areas covered include merchandising, marketing, store operations, and IT. Retail solutions covered software products from IBM SWG, including WebSphere, InfoSphere, Tivoli, Industry Solutions, Commerce and Analytics.

🔹 Grew Retail industry software solution revenue for Smarter Commerce from approximately $2M per year to $20M per year over 5 years

🔹 Experience specific to POS (Point-Of-Sale) systems solutions designing and strategies:
-	6-7 years of experience selling IBM’s POS apps, meeting software solutions quotas which started at $3M and grew to $15M per year.
-	Developed and defined the business requirements for a next gen Java based POS applications focused around Omni-channel Point-of-commerce, which included capture of sales across multiple formats (mobile, fixed POS, web based eCommerce, ability to fulfill orders in a variety of different mechanism).

Retail Software Sales

Performed primarily 3 unique roles during this period. Part 1 was an executive consultant for the IBM eBusiness National Practice. Delivering IBM's eBusiness solutions including professional services in the retail and distribution sectors. Part 2 included doing business development work around electronic market places in both the retail (WWRE), consumer package goods (OneSync) and electronic industries (e2Open). Part 3 was successfully selling professional services for supply chain in Fortune 500 retail and consumer package goods organizations in IBM's Global Services Distribution Sector National Practice.
