Erica McEvoy is a highly accomplished mathematician, physicist, and machine learning scientist with a diverse educational and professional background. She acquired her B.S. in Applied Mathematics and B.S. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She also obtained her M.S. in Astrophysics and Ph.D. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Arizona. Erica is currently employed at The MITRE Corporation in the Washington D.C. area, where she engages in cutting-edge research and development for the Strategic Innovation division in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Mathematical Modeling, and Machine Learning. Erica has also previously worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, Systems & Technology Research, and Capital One in various data science and machine learning roles. Additionally, she has served as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science in Silicon Valley.
