Eric Severson is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in law, intellectual property, mechanical engineering, and military service.

He holds a Juris Doctor degree, graduating Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Iowa State University.

Currently, Eric serves as the Chief IP Counsel at Hunter Douglas, Inc., bringing his expertise to the strategic management of intellectual property within the organization.

Prior to his current role, he held key positions such as Assistant General Counsel at Polaris Industries, Lead Counsel for Intellectual Property at General Electric Healthcare Systems, and roles at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.

Eric also has a notable military background, having served as a Naval Officer in various roles related to navigation, engineering systems instruction, nuclear propulsion, and advanced research.

His experience spans across both legal and engineering fields, making him a valuable asset with a unique skill set.
