Eric Labelle

Eric Labelle is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in forestry and digital forest operations.

He pursued his education at renowned institutions such as La Cité Collégiale, University of New Brunswick, and Université de Moncton, obtaining degrees ranging from a Forest technician diploma to a Ph.D. in Forestry.

Currently, Eric Labelle serves as an Associate Professor of Digital Forest Operations at Université Laval, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of forestry professionals.

Prior to his current role, he held positions such as Assistant Professor of Forest Operations at Technische Universität München, Research Officer at Northern Hardwoods Research Institute, Patcher operator at Kruger Inc., and Certified Scaler at Buchanan Forest Products.

Eric Labelle's diverse experience in academia and industry has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of forest operations and digital technologies in the forestry sector.
