Mr. Gregory served as the Associate Vice President with the Business Development Team of Pediatrix (Previously MEDNAX), primarily functioning as part of the mergers and acquisitions team of the company. The team develops relationships with likeminded practices in the women’s & children’s, anesthesiology and radiology specialties to determine the fit with Pediatrix and its culture. Pediatrix is a physician-led company and aims to let their practices, which have already built a highly regarded reputation in the community and solid business foundation, continue to operate clinically at their discretion. Pediatrix lends the tools and support to let the clinicians do what they do best – take great care of the patient.

Mr. Gregory’s role as Associate Vice President places him squarely in between the practice and Pediatrix, acting as the guiding hand in navigating the practice through the entire partnership process with Pediatrix. His role includes identifying interested practices and shareholders, negotiating offers, handling the due diligence and discovery phase of the transaction and working with the practice and various internal teams such as legal, risk, integration, managed care, etc. to align the entities. This requires efficient coordination and effective communication to the stakeholders and C-suite members. He is also involved in overseeing financial modeling work and the decision-making process.

Mr. Gregory was a member of the Structured Commodity Finance (SCF) business within the Commodities and Financial Markets Division of Macquarie Banking Group in London. The team is responsible for providing financing and services across agri, energy and metals spaces including collateralized working capital facilities, re-purchase style physical transactions as well as equity placements, structured facilities and other transactions. Eric is responsible for marketing to prospective clients while maintaining and expanding current client relationships including identifying key opportunities and risks for the clients’ businesses. 

Mr. Gregory provides a portfolio of international work experience through his tenure in both New York and London, with an understanding of the various international commodity exchanges and related knowledge in the US, EU, Middle East and African legal and tax spaces.

Prior to taking a marketing role within SCF, he worked on a team which focused their efforts on understanding and implementing counterparty risk controls and strengthen the bank’s risk systems. Their work also included applying proper valuation methodologies to vanilla and exotic commodity-based products.
