Eric Cruz

Eric Cruz is a highly accomplished and versatile professional with a rich academic background and extensive experience in the field of Fine Arts and Design.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Fine Arts, Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Artcenter College of Design, and a Bachelor of Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Eric has held key creative leadership roles, including Executive Creative Director of Innovation and Design at Sid Lee and previously at Airbnb and Cruz Roja Española.

He has further expanded his expertise as a Creative Director and Consultant at various organizations such as City of Shanghai Wuhan Hong Kong and Akqa.

In addition to his professional roles, Eric has also engaged in academic endeavors as a Visiting Professor at Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, Adjunct Professor at The One Academy and Temple University, and Council Member at Adfest.

He is a dynamic individual who has shared his knowledge and insights as a Founding Member of Tedxshanghai, Executive Creative Director at Leo Burnett, and Creative Consultant at Razorfish, among others.

Eric's diverse career has seen him contribute to prestigious institutions like College for Creative Studies, where he served as an Adjunct Professor, and Imaginary Forces and Wieden + Kennedy, where he honed his skills as an Art Director.

Notably, Eric took a break from his professional pursuits to focus on his personal life, dedicating time to being a full-time father during a creative sabbatical.
