Eric Conklin

Eric Conklin is a highly experienced individual with a background spanning over 26 years in emergency management, law enforcement, and security.

He is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and a retired Indiana State Police Trooper, with a Master of Arts degree from the University of Florida specializing in international security, insurgency, and intelligence.

Throughout his career, Eric has been involved in various significant incidents and events including Hurricane Katrina, Missouri Tornadoes, Haiti Earthquake, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, multiple hurricanes and tropical storms, as well as major national events like the 2017 Presidential Inauguration and Eclipse 2017.

His specialties and areas of interest encompass a wide range of fields such as emergency management, law enforcement, homeland security, crisis management, incident management, security, consulting, program and project management, and national preparedness.

Eric's expertise includes FEMA operational planning, deliberate all-hazards response planning, incident action planning, National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command System (ICS), operations section chief roles, All-Hazards Incident Management Team (AHIMT) functions, on-scene security, situational awareness technology, social media in disasters, information management, interagency liaison, and communication technology in off-grid environments.
