Don Honeycutt, a Cornell University alumnus with a B.A. in Physics and a minor in Computer Science, is a renowned expert in the IT industry. He began his career in software engineering and design, specializing in finance. In 2002, he joined Maple Technologies, a core administration platform provider, as one of the chief architects responsible for building the company's flagship product, Aspire Solution Suite (Aspire).

Don's expertise in data manipulation led him to design and develop the R8 product, a proprietary insurance rating engine for commercial and personal lines insurance, for Maple Data Technologies (Maple Data), a sister company of Maple Tech. Don's passion for technology has seen him recognized several times for his innovative contributions to Aspire, including a win for best-in-class technology at the 2011 RAVE Awards and a Technology Firm of the Year Award in the U.K in 2012.

With his extensive knowledge and experience in technology, Don currently serves as a partner and member of Maple Tech's technology team, spearheading the design, development, and maintenance of large rating, calculation, and data handling subsystems of Aspire. Additionally, he provides consulting services to many of Maple Tech's significant clients.

Don's career highlights also encompass leading the creation of a robust technical backbone for a leading experimental finance research facility, the Johnson School of Management, Cornell University Business Simulation Laboratory.
