Eric Biltonen

Eric Biltonen is a strategic planning and economics expert with 19 years of experience in national and international community, organizational, and water resources development initiatives. He possesses proven leadership and diplomatic skills in managing training and education programs, international development projects, research projects, and partnerships. Eric has superior abilities in designing and facilitating strategic planning processes, legal and institutional analysis, and organizational development for complex organizations. He excels in working across different cultures and environments, leveraging the strengths of diverse teams, and employing creative critical thinking and problem-solving approaches using evidence-based practices. His exceptional written and oral communication skills allow him to effectively communicate with various audiences through policy, briefing, technical, and project reports.

Eric pursued his academic endeavors by studying Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics, a B.A. in Economics, both at Colorado State University, and a B.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Throughout his career, Eric Biltonen has held key roles in prestigious organizations. He served as an Organizational Development Advisor at Training Resources Group, Inc. and previously worked as a Senior Outreach Specialist as well as an Outreach Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Eric has also been an Independent Consultant at Biltwater International and held the position of Post-Doctoral Scientist at the International Water Management Institute (IWMI).
